The Best Night Clubs in Palma de Mallorca

Palma is one of the most stylish nightlife destinations in the Mediterranean, and the night clubs in Palma de Mallorca are a big part of why. The scene has its own character, built around the marina on the Paseo Marítimo, the cocktail bars of Santa Catalina and the late rooms that run until the sun comes up. Whether you are here for a week or you live on the island, this is our guide to the best clubs in Palma, what each one is good for and how to plan a proper night out.

We are Social Club, a night club in Palma de Mallorca, so this list comes from inside the scene rather than from a travel brochure. We have kept the focus on Palma and the venues just around it, the rooms genuinely worth planning a night around, with a couple of famous names mentioned separately at the end.

How we chose the best night clubs in Palma

Size is not everything. A great club night comes down to the music, the crowd, the room and how consistent it is from one weekend to the next. We looked for venues that get those things right, that have a clear identity rather than trying to be everything at once. The result is a mix of landmark rooms on the seafront, lively spots in Santa Catalina and a couple of big rooms just outside the centre, so there is something here whatever kind of night you are after.

The 6 best night clubs in Palma de Mallorca

1. Social Club

We are on the Paseo Marítimo, set beneath the terrace of the Hotel Victoria, and we built Social Club around one idea: a premium night out without the pretension. Every part of the room is designed with intention, from the sound system to the lighting to the way the space flows, so it feels right early in the evening and still has somewhere to go when the floor fills after midnight. The terrace looks out over the bay, which makes it just as easy to start the night here as it is to lose a few hours to it.

The music leans into house and techno, with curated guest DJs and a calendar of themed nights and special events that runs right through the season. Because the programme changes regularly, there is usually a fresh reason to come back rather than one big night to catch, and you can always see what is coming up on our events calendar. The crowd is international and social, the kind of guests who care about the music and the room rather than just being seen.

Nightlife and clubs in Palma de mallorca

For groups there are tables and VIP booths, and our Social Members programme rewards guests who make us a regular part of their nights, across Gold and Black tiers. If you are planning a birthday, a hen party or any other celebration, we can build the night around you. If you only have one night in the city, start with us, then see where the rest of the Paseo Marítimo takes you. Reserve a table through VIP, sort a group or celebration, or grab tickets at tickets.socialclubmallorca.com/events.

2. AMOK

AMOK sits just south of Palma in S’Aranjassa, a few minutes from the airport and around 15 minutes by taxi from the centre. It opened in 2024 on the site of the old Es Fogueró and quickly became the most ambitious club on the island, voted Mallorca’s best club in 2025. The scale is the first thing you notice: a huge main room with one of the biggest stages in the Balearics, a sweeping outdoor terrace and production to match, all moving lights, visuals and confetti.

The music is mostly house and techno, with afrohouse, urban sounds and the occasional throwback, and the guest list reads like a festival bill. It runs mainly at weekends and through the summer, with nights going until dawn, plus the Tribu Sunset Party on the terrace on Sundays. If you want the big room, big DJ experience and do not mind a short taxi out of the centre, this is the one to book.

3. Tabana

Over in Playa de Palma, Tabana is a different kind of night out. It calls itself a Grill and Nightlife concept, and that is exactly what you get: a proper dinner with a full cabaret show, then a DJ after party, all under one roof with no need to change venue. The kitchen leans Mediterranean with international and Japanese influences, built around grilled steaks, champagne and cocktails.

The show is the centrepiece rather than background entertainment, with singers, dancers, acrobats and themed acts taking the stage through the evening, and famous theme nights such as Bunny Mansion. Guests tend to arrive from around 20:00, eat through the performances and stay on as the room turns into a party. It is made for groups, birthdays and celebrations, so book ahead on summer weekends because tables fill early.

4. Fitz

Fitz is the newest name on the Paseo Marítimo, opening in 2026 inside the historic building that once housed Tito’s and, more recently, Lío. It comes from Grupo Sounds, the team behind the Fitz clubs in Madrid and Marbella, so it arrives with pedigree and a clear focus on a high quality night for both locals and visitors.

With a capacity of more than 700, it is a proper big room on the seafront, set into the cliff above the marina with the harbour views that come with it. As a brand new opening it is one to watch this season, and being a short walk from us, it slots neatly into a night that moves along the Paseo Marítimo.

5. Sala Luna

Sala Luna is one of the oldest and best loved night clubs in the city, set in Plaça del Vapor on the edge of Santa Catalina. It has been part of Palma nightlife for decades, with a history colourful enough that a young King Felipe VI is said to have passed through, and it still pulls a lively crowd most weekends.

The draw is the easy, social atmosphere: an open air courtyard, commercial and upbeat music, and a room that fills up fast. There can be a queue, but it moves, and it is the natural choice for groups and spontaneous nights when you just want a busy floor and good energy in the heart of the city.

6. Brooklyn

Also around Santa Catalina, Brooklyn is a chic, central spot that keeps the neighbourhood buzzing well past midnight. It has built a loyal following with regularly changing themed parties, from retro nights to the latest chart hits, so there is always something a little different on.

Resident and guest DJs cover plenty of ground, mixing local and international sounds across a busy dance floor, and the room is modern and stylish with a strong cocktail list. If you would rather stay in Santa Catalina than head down to the marina, this is an easy and reliable choice.

Special mention: BCM

BCM is the biggest and most high profile club on the island, with festival scale production, several rooms and a line of top international DJs through the summer. It is over in Magaluf rather than in Palma itself, so it means a trip out of the city, but if you are after a massive night it is the one everyone knows.

Where to go clubbing in Palma: the main areas

Most of the action splits across a few areas. The Paseo Marítimo, the seafront avenue along the marina, is the heart of it and home to the biggest rooms, including Social Club and the new Fitz. Santa Catalina is the trendy part of the city, full of cocktail bars, rooftops and smaller late spots like Sala Luna and Brooklyn. A couple of the island’s biggest nights sit just outside the centre, with AMOK to the south near the airport and Tabana over in Playa de Palma, both a short taxi away. La Lonja and the old town round it off with intimate hidden bars for a slower start.

How a night out in Palma works

Spanish timing takes a little getting used to. Dinner rarely starts before 21:00, bars fill up after 23:00, and the clubs do not really get going until after midnight, with the late rooms running through to around 06:00. A few simple habits make it run smoothly:

  • Eat first. A proper late dinner around 21:00 sets you up for a long night.
  • Dress smart casual for the Paseo Marítimo clubs. Santa Catalina is more relaxed.
  • Carry some cash for entry and taxis, since not everywhere takes cards at 03:00.
  • Save a taxi app to your phone, because the buses stop running late.
  • Book a table ahead at the bigger venues on busy summer weekends.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best night clubs in Palma de Mallorca?

Our top picks are Social Club, AMOK, Tabana, Fitz, Sala Luna and Brooklyn. Social Club and Fitz sit on the Paseo Marítimo by the marina, Sala Luna and Brooklyn are around Santa Catalina, and AMOK and Tabana are big nights just outside the centre. Famous names like BCM in Magaluf sit beyond the city list.

Where is the nightlife in Palma de Mallorca?

Three areas carry the scene. The Paseo Marítimo by the marina is home to the big clubs, Santa Catalina is the trendy area for cocktail bars and smaller late spots, and La Lonja and the old town are best for intimate hidden bars. They are all close enough to move between on foot or by a short taxi.

What time do night clubs open in Palma?

Most clubs open around 22:00 to 23:00, but they do not get busy until after midnight. The late rooms on the Paseo Marítimo run through to roughly 06:00, so there is no rush to arrive early unless you want a quieter start to the night.

What should I wear to a club in Palma?

For the Paseo Marítimo venues, smart casual is the safe choice, as the doors here can be a little dressier. Santa Catalina and the old town are more relaxed, so you can keep it casual. Summer nights stay warm late, so you rarely need much more than a light layer.

Is Palma good for nightlife all year?

Yes. Summer brings the biggest events, international DJs and the busiest floors, but Palma has a real local scene that keeps going through the winter, centred on the reliable bars and weekend club nights. It is one of the few Mediterranean cities that stays lively well beyond the holiday season.
