Gordo
Diamanté Blackmon conquered festival main stages as Carnage before retiring the name to follow his heart into house and techno as Gordo. His TARAKA label grew into a party series spanning cities from Miami to Amsterdam, and his production credits include Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind.
Born in 1991, Blackmon grew up between Frederick, Maryland, and Guatemala, where he lived with his mother and aunt until he was ten. As Carnage he played Ultra and Tomorrowland, before launching Gordo in 2021 with the single “KTM” and retiring the old name the following year.
“TARAKA”, his second single as Gordo, gave its name to his label and party series, and his production work includes Drake’s albums Honestly, Nevermind and For All the Dogs. He played Social in 2022.
