Riva Starr

Neapolitan Stefano Miele became Riva Starr in 2006 and has been based in London since 2008. He launched Snatch! Records in 2010, the same year as “I Was Drunk”, and made one of dance music’s most famous chants, “Eat Sleep Rave Repeat”, with Fatboy Slim. Playful, groove-first and never predictable.

Before Riva Starr, Miele worked in Naples’ breakbeat scene under his own name, and his Neapolitan roots run through his music, from his first album, Pista Connection, released by Virgin in 2000, to his later Glitch on Naples project.

Snatch!, the label he co-founded with Brock Wild, has become a home for playful house and tech house. He played Social in 2022.
